Celebrating the Shift from Construction to Production – The First Industrialised Construction Awards

The UK construction sector is undergoing the biggest transformation in its modern history. Driven by platform design, advanced manufacturing and digital integration, the industry is shifting from traditional project delivery to true industrialisation – where buildings are designed as products, assembled using connected supply chains and delivered with predictable outcomes.

Recognising the Pioneers of Technology, Leadership and Culture Change in UK Construction

To celebrate the leaders driving this new era, the Industrialised Construction Awards will take place on 21 April 2026 in London, co-located with the Industrialised Construction Conference and immediately following the industry Drinks Reception sponsored by Autodesk.

Organised by Industrialised Construction Media Limited and judged by representatives of the Industrialised Construction Advisory Board, the Awards will recognise the organisations, technologies and people accelerating the UK’s journey from construction to production and demonstrating that better ways of designing, manufacturing and assembling buildings are not only possible, but already happening.

Why Enter the Awards?

As the inaugural Awards, this is a unique moment to recognise the first wave of companies and individuals turning ambition into reality. Winning an Industrialised Construction Award is not simply a trophy – it is a strategic platform to:

Raise Company and Brand Profile

Award winners gain independent third-party validation of their technology, strategy, leadership or built outcomes – supporting business development, investor confidence and market recognition.

Elevate Personal Reputation

Leadership categories highlight the individuals shaping the sector – helping internal champions and industry change-makers build credibility, influence and career visibility.

Showcase Technology and Innovation

From digital twins to platform design and factory-enabled delivery, the Awards create a national showcase to demonstrate proven solutions gaining traction today and inspire wider industry adoption.

Support Recruitment and Culture Change

Being recognised for workforce development, sustainability, and collaboration reinforces cultural leadership and strengthens talent attraction.

Create Credible Case Studies and Media Opportunities

Winners and shortlisted entries will be featured across the Industrialised Construction media ecosystem — including a full Industrialised Construction Journal write-up, web features, podcasts, webinars and future conference programming.

A New Industry Lens

The Industrialised Construction Awards take a broad and more systemic approach – shining a spotlight on:

  • Whole-life digital integration
  • Platform-based productisation
  • Factory excellence and automation
  • Procurement and policy transformation
  • Cultural and behavioural change to support industrialised delivery

This is not simply about construction methods – it is about cultural change, leadership, repeatability, and a manufacturing mindset applied to every stage of the value chain.

Who Should Enter?

The Awards are open to clients, developers, designers, manufacturers, contractors, technology providers and project teams that can demonstrate measurable results in:

  • Digital construction and data interoperability
  • Platform and product-based delivery
  • Factory-enabled manufacturing excellence
  • Low carbon and circular economy design
  • Skills, training and workforce transformation
  • Client leadership and framework adoption
  • Cross-sector collaboration and alliances

Sue Hine, Client Account Director, Jacobs and Industrialised Construction Advisory Board member said, “In a sector under immense pressure to improve productivity and reduce its environmental footprint, it is vital that we shine a spotlight on those organisations and individuals who are leading the way. The Industrialised Construction Awards recognise the pioneers who are re-thinking how we design, manufacture and assemble our built environment. By celebrating their success, we set new benchmarks for what the entire industry can achieve.”
