An Ironbridge site manager has been named one of the region’s best in the NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards for 2026, earning a place in the competition’s national final for the second consecutive year.
Mark Follos, Senior Site Manager at Lioncourt Homes’ Heritage Walk new homes development, has won the Regional Award for the West region, marking the latest step in an outstanding year and recognising him as one of the top three of the 35 who earned the Quality Award back in June. As well as the Regional Award, Mark was awarded the coveted Seal of Excellence, which sits between the Quality and Regional categories.
Back-to-back regional successes put Mark among an elite group of site managers nationally. He now moves forward to compete for the Supreme Award, the highest accolade, with winners announced in January 2027.
No stranger to the national stage, Mark was a runner-up in the Supreme Awards in 2022, and this year’s Quality Award was his sixth.
Heritage Walk is a development of 85 homes in the historic village of Ironbridge, and throughout this process, has been judged on every aspect of site management. 38 homes have been moved into, including six specialist homes created in partnership with HFT, and construction is expected to be complete in 2028.
Mark Follos said: “Winning a Regional Award once is special, but to do so in consecutive years shows me that the standards we’ve set are far from a one-off, and that the processes our teams follow are the right ones.
“Every trade and member of our site team buys into the way we do things, and while the recognition falls under my name, it belongs to everybody that has made Heritage Walk such a brilliant site.
“We’re looking forward to the Supremes, but whatever happens at the ceremony, I could not be prouder of what we’ve built here.”
Danny Tunstall, Construction Director at Lioncourt Homes, said: “Regional awards are difficult to win, and winning them in successive years is exceptional. Mark has built a reputation for delivering high standards consistently, and that’s exactly what these awards are designed to recognise.
“The success at Heritage Walk is down to the effort of the whole site team and supply chain, but Mark’s leadership has been a major factor. We’re extremely proud of what has been achieved and look forward to supporting him in the Supreme Awards.”
Pride in the Job has five categories: small, medium and large builders, plus multi-storey for projects up to seven storeys and high-rise for projects more than seven storeys.
