Spring North has announced the launch of its brand-new awards programme, delivered as part of the prestigious One Voice Awards, designed to shine a spotlight on the individuals, organisations and community groups making a real difference in Lancashire and South Cumbria.
With the deadline for entries fast approaching, Spring North is calling on charities, voluntary organisations, social enterprises, community groups and partners to submit nominations across all categories before it’s too late.
The Spring North Awards aim to highlight the creativity, resilience and leadership shown by people working to improve health, wellbeing and opportunity within local communities.
Categories include Innovative Delivery Award, Impact Award, and Health & Wellbeing Award. Each winner will receive a professionally produced impact video, valued at £1,500. This video will help winners share their story, highlight their work, and showcase the difference they are making in their communities.
There will also be a special overall award – Not-for-Profit of the Year. The winner of this will receive a £2,500 grant to support and expand their work, ensuring the recognition they receive on the night leaves a lasting legacy.
All winners will be showcased at the One Voice Awards ceremony 2026, bringing together partners, leaders and community representatives from across the region.
Martin Hartley-Smith, CEO of Spring North, said: “There is incredible work happening in every corner of our communities, often led by people who don’t seek recognition. These awards are our opportunity to celebrate that impact – and with a £2,500 prize available for each winner, we hope this will help them continue the fantastic work they’re already doing.
“However, time is running out. If you know an organisation, group or individual making a difference, please put them forward. We don’t want anyone to miss their chance.”
Entries can be submitted online via bit.ly/SNAwards26 before the deadline on November 28.
Applicants simply need to answer three questions – outlining their achievements, describing their community impact, and sharing why they should be recognised through their chosen category.
