Winvic Construction Ltd, a leading main contractor specialising in the design and delivery of private and public sector construction and civil engineering projects, has announced its partnership with the 2026 Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards (IWICE) during the company’s milestone 25th year.

Following seven successful shortlisting’s in 2025, Winvic’s event partnership underscores its long-standing commitment to EDI and investment in the future of women in the sector, alongside its dedication to creating opportunities for all talent to thrive.

The company is marking its 25th year in business in 2026, making its involvement in the full event programme particularly significant as it reflects both its heritage and forward-looking ambition for Winvic in helping shape a more inclusive industry.

The 2026 IWICE awards will continue to champion the role of women across the construction and engineering industry through celebrating wins and sharing stories, providing networking opportunities and learning resources designed to support career progression and organisations that are great places to work.

With a continued focus on encouraging the development of women within the sector and improving equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) policies, the programme will bring together professionals from across both industries to connect, learn and share success.

As part of the event partnership, Winvic will support the programme at the full-day conference and awards ceremony, half-day finalists workshop and virtual webinar series, as well as judge and present the Excellence in Recruitment and Retention award category. Rebecca Schwarz – People and Resources Director at Winvic, will act as judge for the category, recognising organisations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to attracting, developing and retaining diverse talent.

Rebecca said: “We are incredibly proud to partner with the 2026 Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards during such a landmark year for Winvic.

“As we celebrate 25 years in business, our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion remains central to our strategy and our culture. By supporting this year’s programme, we want to continue creating meaningful opportunities for women across our sector, to ensure it is an industry where everyone can thrive.”
