BTG Confirmed as Administrator for Ardmore Construction Group

Ardmore Administration Leaves Major London Projects Facing Uncertainty

BTG has confirmed it has been appointed as administrator for Ardmore Construction Group, marking a further step in the restructuring of the London-based contractor’s business.

The firm, formerly known as Begbies Traynor, is already acting as administrator for Ardmore Construction Ltd, which entered administration last summer.

In a statement, BTG said: “Ardmore Construction Group Limited appointed licensed insolvency practitioners Dominik Czerwinke and Jamie Taylor, partners from financial and real estate advisory group BTG, and Jason Callender, partner at Panos Eliades Callender & Co., as joint administrators on 12 June 2026. The joint administrators do not have further comment at this stage.”

Last Thursday, the contractor confirmed that its wider construction group — including Ardmore Construction Group, Ardmore Major Projects, Regeneration, Fit-out, Hotels & Commercial and Landmark — had entered administration.

The company said: “The administration follows the profound impact of the recent Building Liability Order judgment relating to the Admiralty Quarter project, which completed in 2009.

“The judgment has affected client confidence, payment terms and certified values across a number of live projects, materially affecting the construction group’s ability to continue trading in the normal way.”

The collapse has impacted a number of live schemes, including the Britannia residential development in Shoreditch for Hackney Council, which is close to completion and had been scheduled for delivery later this year.
