Spitfire Homes launches brand-new Community Fund to mark 15th anniversary

Family-owned Midlands homebuilder Spitfire Homes has launched a new Community Fund, building on an ongoing programme of charitable donations and volunteering initiatives.

The fund invites charities, clubs and groups located across its collections to apply for funding to support projects and activities that deliver a positive impact in their local communities.

The initiative follows a milestone year for Spitfire, which recently completed its 1,500th home, achieved record year-on-year growth of 70% in 2025, and is complemented by a strong pipeline of 1,600 homes. The business is using its 15th anniversary year to invest directly in the communities that have supported its growth.

The Community Fund will provide grants towards projects and initiatives that make a tangible difference locally, helping ensure the homebuilder’s continued success is matched by a lasting contribution to local communities, creating a legacy that extends long after construction is complete.

With £15,000 available to spend, applications will be reviewed quarterly by a panel of employees representing different areas of the business.

Matt Vincent, Operations Director, said: “Celebrating 15 years of Spitfire Homes is an important milestone and a chance to reflect on the relationships we have built with the communities around our collections. From the outset, we have always believed that our role extends beyond creating high-quality homes; it is about making a positive and lasting contribution to the places people call home.

The Spitfire Homes Community Fund is a natural extension of that commitment, providing practical support to local projects and organisations that make a positive impact. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on ensuring that the communities we are part of feel the benefit of our presence, both now and for years to come.”

Founded in 2011, Spitfire has delivered 62 communities across the Midlands and beyond, with its approach centred around thoughtful placemaking, distinctive architecture and creating homes that are designed to complement their surroundings, all while supporting an estimated 5,000 jobs.[i]

Since the announcement and launch earlier this month, more than 50 applications have been received, underlining the important work being carried out by grassroots organisations across the region.
