Fit-out contractor BW has appointed Dominic Anstey as commercial director as the London-based employee-owned business targets turnover of £350m this year.
Anstey brings 30 years of construction industry experience to the role, including nearly 20 years at Mace. He will work alongside managing director Kevin P’ng to strengthen resourcing, financial management and coordination between pre-construction and project delivery as BW pursues its next phase of growth.
His appointment is part of a wider senior recruitment drive, with Harsha Javvaji joining as project director and Billy Roden taking up the position of health and safety director.
Javvaji has 18 years of experience delivering projects in Australia and the UK. Working with managing director Paul Kavanagh, he will focus on securing new work and overseeing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Roden brings 25 years of industry experience, including a period at Skanska. He will work with chief operating officer Peter Nagle to lead BW’s health and safety function, focusing on accountability, safety by design and workforce wellbeing.
The appointments follow a leadership restructure initiated after Anthony Brown became chief executive at the end of July, succeeding Steve Elliott, who had held the position for 12 years. Brown was promoted from chief marketing officer as the business prepared for its next stage of development.
Following his appointment, BW promoted Nagle to chief operating officer and appointed Kavanagh and P’ng as managing directors, reinforcing its senior leadership team across the business.
The expanded management team will support BW’s growth across its core markets, which include commercial workplaces, higher education, legal, finance, technology and the public sector.
