Leading construction and fit-out contractor Gilbert-Ash Ireland has officially unveiled its new headquarters in the heart of Dublin.

The company opened its doors and invited clients and stakeholders to see their new premises, located on the city’s Dawson Street on Wednesday evening.

It follows Gilbert-Ash Ireland’s recent completion of the 245-bedroom citizenM Hotel on Dublin’s Bride Street, marking the global hospitality brand’s entry into the Irish market.

The company is also progressing work on the construction of two major hotels, a 215-bedroom Premier Inn at Twilfit House on Jervis Street and a 229-bedroom Premier Inn forming part of the redevelopment of the former Clerys department store site.

Elsewhere on the island, Gilbert-Ash has completed several landmark projects including the Giant’s Causeway Visitors Centre and the Lyric Theatre in Belfast, both of which were shortlisted for the Stirling Prize.

Gilbert-Ash Managing Director, Ray Hutchinson, said the new Dublin headquarters reflects the company’s drive to growing its presence in Ireland.

“We are proud of our work in Ireland and our new headquarters, in the heart of Dublin, is a commitment from us to expanding our footprint across the country,” he said.

“Gilbert-Ash feels at home working in Ireland and we want to build a solid foundation from which to deliver future projects, especially across the hospitality, workspace and residential sectors.

“We look forward to working closely with local clients, sub-contractors and other stakeholders in the near future.”

Gilbert-Ash has a unique approach to construction, fit-out and refurbishment based on the belief that great buildings come about through hard work, inspired innovation and genuine collaboration.
