James Hardie, the world’s number one producer and marketer of high-performance fibre cement cladding and backerboard, and a market leader in Europe for fibre gypsum products, has extended the size and remit of its UK marketing team in a move design to support the ongoing growth of the business.

Waheeza Tegally has been promoted to Head of UK Marketing, reflecting her leadership and contribution to James Hardie’s brand growth across the region, and will also be responsible for some niche European initiatives.  Under her direction, the existing team has been restructured to align each member with a core product category, ensuring expertise, accountability, and measurable impact on business performance.

Jake Hall has been promoted to Marketing Manager for fermacell® products in a new role, highlighting the brand’s continued growth and increasing importance within the company’s product portfolio.  Additionally, Naomi Campbell joins as Marketing Manager for Hardie® Panel.

Together, the team will collaborate closely across product lines and departments, to ensure every campaign is strategically aligned, data-driven, and customer-focused. This integrated approach ensures that all marketing initiatives are designed to support sustainable growth and deliver real value to customers across the construction industry.

Lee Bucknall, UK Country Manager at James Hardie, commented: “Collaboration sits at the heart of the team’s success. Working closely with Sales, R&D, and Technical ensures our marketing activities consistently align with customer needs and industry demands. Both Waheeza and Jake have earned well-deserved promotions this year, underlining James Hardie’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and recognising exceptional performance and we are delighted to have Naomi on board.”
