Whitecode Consulting Shortlisted for Prestigious Industry Award

Whitecode Consulting Shortlisted for Prestigious Industry Award

Highlighting its commitment to professional development, Whitecode Consulting has been named as a finalist in the ‘Employer of the Year, Medium Company’ category at the CIBSE Young Engineers Awards 2026.

Now in their 31st year, the CIBSE Young Engineers Awards shine a spotlight on the skills, expertise and innovative thinking of graduate and undergraduate engineers and apprentices across the construction industry. The highly sought-after accolades also recognise employers who demonstrate a determination to develop the next generation of talent through the ‘Employer of the Year, Medium Company’ award.

Whitecode Consulting’s shortlisting alongside other industry leaders and major organisations reflects its passion for promoting engineering as a career pathway for young people, and its extensive apprenticeship programme.

Every trainee is enrolled onto a fully accredited CIBSE training and development scheme, with consistent support, mentoring and progression provided by the company’s experienced management team.

Apprentices are encouraged to contribute from the very beginning of the course, receiving comprehensive training in CAD, Revit, digital engineering and building services design while working alongside specialist project teams. Today, the company employs 35 engineers who have either completed or are currently progressing through the apprenticeship programme.

Jason Tramontano, Technical Director at Whitecode Consulting, has seen first-hand the impact investing in young people can have on individuals and businesses. He said: “I joined the company as a trainee 25 years ago and progressed through the ranks to become a director. That journey shaped my belief that apprenticeships are one of the most effective ways to develop talented engineers and secure the future of our profession.

“Being shortlisted for this award is testimony to our commitment to our apprenticeship programme and ensuring the next generation of engineers is fully equipped to lead the industry forward.”

The CIBSE Young Engineers Awards will take place on Thursday 8th October 2026 at 30 Euston Square in London.
