Rula Developments has secured full B2 / B8 planning consent to deliver a new state-of-the-art 225,000 sq ft logistics building at its 30-acre Winsford Gateway site in Cheshire.

WG225 occupies a 14-acre serviced development plot at Winsford Gateway, just five miles from M6 Junction 19 with 3.5 MVA power already secured.

Access works to the site have commenced alongside the construction of WG27, a 27,728 sq ft freehold pre-sale for the new headquarters for floor finishing and interior design business, Saint Group.

Winsford Gateway is located at the north entrance to the wider 380-acre Winsford Industrial Estate which is home to around 150 businesses employing more than 4,000 people. The Estate benefits from excellent transport links, with the M6 motorway just five miles away and major A-roads linking the estate with Merseyside, Chester, and North Wales.

Anthony Clitheroe, Development Director at Rula Developments said,

“We are pleased to have obtained unanimous planning approval for this substantial employment-generating facility at Winsford Gateway, which enhances the industrial and logistics offering within this well-established and fully occupied estate.

“Both purpose-built logistics and industrial facilities and serviced development land continue to be in high demand in this location, and we are able to provide expedited options for both lease and sale, with the site already comprehensively serviced.

“We have also created a thriving new amenity hub at Winsford Gateway with on-site facilities including Costa Coffee, Greggs, McDonalds, KFC, Subway and Londis with a filling/service station that serve thousands of people who work and commute around the site.”

Rula is offering a total of 350,000 sq ft of industrial, logistics and roadside/retail accommodation available at Winsford Gateway with full infrastructure works already in place.

WG74 is currently available for lease or sale with full planning permission secured for up to  74,000 sq ft on a 4.8 acre site. A separate scheme of six new trade counter units ranging from 1,684 to 3,058 sq ft is also immediately available at Plot 3.

Rula has previously delivered a 168,000 sq ft state of the art factory for Tiger Trailers at Winsford Gateway, and more recently completed a 4.1-acre yard extension for the manufacturer on its adjacent development site.

Rula Developments is a privately owned commercial development company focusing on identifying and developing sites across the UK for immediate development or for medium to longer-term strategic development, delivering high quality buildings and schemes.

Its management team has a pedigree of over 4,000,000 sq ft of development for manufacturing and distribution use with resources to manage projects from conception to completion.
