Bachy Soletanche has promoted long-serving executive Martin Stanley to a newly created technical director position following two decades with the company, while appointing former Skanska project leader Balint Madar to head its Southern Division.
In his expanded role, Stanley will oversee the company’s technical, design, operational systems, quality and digital functions, with responsibility extending across business development, preconstruction and delivery operations.
Balint Madar joins Bachy Soletanche from Cementation Skanska, where he progressed to project director over a 10-year period. A chartered civil engineer with more than 14 years of experience, he has led preconstruction and delivery teams on major UK schemes including Battersea Power Station, 2 Finsbury Avenue and 1 Liverpool Street. He has also worked across commercial, residential and infrastructure projects in the UK, alongside earlier roles with Soletanche Bachy Hungary.
The leadership changes see Madar take over responsibility for the Southern Division as part of the company’s wider operational structure.
Martin Stanley said: “I am really excited to be taking up the role as technical director for Bachy Soletanche’s UK business
“In Balint I have found a natural replacement, and our existing clients can expect a seamless transition in the coming weeks and months.”
The appointments form part of Bachy Soletanche’s ongoing development of its UK operations, strengthening technical leadership while maintaining continuity across its regional divisions and project delivery teams.
