Family-owned Midlands homebuilder Spitfire Homes has received over 90 applications for its brand-new Community Fund, launched to mark its 15th anniversary
The fund invites charities, clubs and groups located nearby to its collections to apply for funding to support projects and activities that deliver a positive impact in their local communities. Applications will be reviewed quarterly by a panel of employees representing different areas of the business, with the first session being held in October.
Since launching on July 1, Spitfire’s fund has attracted an average of over nine applications per week, reflecting the strength of grassroots activity and the need for financial support across Midlands charities and organisations.
The initiative follows a milestone year for Spitfire, which recently completed its 1,500th home, achieved record year-on-year growth of 70% in 2025, and is complemented by a strong pipeline of 1,600 homes. The business is using its 15th anniversary year to invest directly in the communities that have supported its growth.
The Community Fund will ensure the homebuilder’s continued success is matched by a lasting contribution to local communities, creating a legacy that extends long after construction is complete.
