McHale Plant Sales has become the new distributor for Terex Fuchs material handlers across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, taking over the role from Blue Equipment Ireland.

The agreement, reached between the two companies, includes the transfer of Blue Equipment Ireland’s dedicated Fuchs team to McHale Plant Sales, ensuring continuity of expertise and customer support.

McHale said the move combines the experience of the established Fuchs team with its own nationwide infrastructure, technical expertise and aftersales network, providing customers with enhanced support and long-term continuity.

Michael McHale, chairman of McHale Plant Sales, said, “We are delighted to welcome the Fuchs business and the experienced Blue Ireland team to McHale Plant Sales. We look forward to building on the excellent work carried out by Liam and Ronan Brophy and the team over many years and continuing to grow the brand nationwide.”

Liam Brophy, director of Blue Equipment Ireland, said, “We are proud of the strong Fuchs business that has been established in Ireland and of the relationships developed with customers over many years. This mutually agreed transition ensures continuity for customers and provides the team with an excellent opportunity to continue developing the brand as part of McHale Plant Sales. We look forward to joining the McHale Plant Sales team and to further developing the Fuchs business in Ireland.”
