Castle Green Homes has secured a place on Homes England’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), opening the door to new opportunities to access public sector land.

Simon Finlay, development director at Castle Green Homes, said: “Castle Green is a true hybrid housebuilder, with an almost equal balance between the number of private sale and affordable homes delivered in the last financial year.

“Joining the DPS was a key target for Castle Green in 2026 as it opens up a wide range of public sector land opportunities across Homes England’s national programmes, including projects supporting regeneration and affordable housing delivery, which are central to the company’s continued growth.

“Achieving DPS partner status is the first big success for Chris McAllister since his arrival in the business in December 2025 to spearhead the North West Partnerships business.”

Chris, who brings more than 20 years’ experience in affordable housing delivery and public procurement, added: “We’re proud to have been named as a delivery partner on Homes England’s DPS. Achieving this strategic objective unlocks further public sector land opportunities to us and raises our profile among local authorities and other public bodies looking for developers.

“Castle Green’s appointment to the DPS reflects and strengthens our commitment to supporting high quality, sustainable development and collaborating with partners across the public and private sector to deliver homes and places that meet local needs. We look forward to working with Homes England and continuing to contribute to Government housing targets.”

Homes England is the Government’s housing and regeneration agency. The DPS is a key route for Homes England to dispose of land, allowing approved housebuilders to bid for sites. It can also be used by other public bodies to appoint development partners, widening access to potential schemes.

Castle Green, headquartered in Preston Brook with a regional base in St Asaph, continues to expand at pace.

Recently named Housebuilder of the Year at the Insider North West Residential Property Awards, the company is investing significantly in new land opportunities to drive further growth.

It expects to deliver around 600 homes across 16 developments this financial year, with ambitions to reach 1,000 homes annually by 2030.

Current projects span the North West and North Wales, with further growth planned across the Liverpool City Region and Cheshire, alongside expansion into the Manchester City Region, Lancashire and Shropshire.
