Keller UK has brought in former Aarsleff specialist Andy Waghorn as branch director of its foundations division, reinforcing its leadership team as demand grows for complex geotechnical solutions.

Waghorn joins the piling and ground improvement arm of the business with more than 25 years of experience spanning the UK, Ireland and Australia. He moves from Aarsleff, where he held the role of ground engineering director for over four years.

His background includes senior positions across the sector, having served as piling operations director at J Murphy & Sons between 2016 and 2021, and previously leading the piling division at Van Elle from 2013 to 2016. The appointment brings a depth of operational and technical expertise to Keller’s UK activities.

Keller said the move strengthens its capability to deliver technically demanding schemes as it continues to pursue opportunities across infrastructure, commercial and energy markets.

Keller UK managing director David De Sousa Neto said: “We’re delighted Andy has joined us as he brings a wealth of experience to the organisation.

“His technical knowledge and understanding of a wide range of solutions will be a real asset to the UK business.”
