An operations professional who has over 20 years’ commercial and operational experience, from owner operated businesses to multi-national corporations, has been appointed head of operations at specialist temporary access system supplier TPA, part of the Vp plc group.

James Hannaway was most recently an independent consultant for three years and before that was UK and Ireland Operations Director for Diversey Ltd. He was responsible for all logistics and operations performance throughout UK and Ireland, delivering over £180 million of revenue through carefully managed operations networks.

James has been involved in European projects, mergers and acquisitions and the integration projects of various businesses, recognising the strengths of what facilitates a great business model.

Of his new role at TPA, James said: “I want to continue to build on TPA’s success and prepare the business for the next steps, ensuring we have everything in place for enabling the strategic growth target. I also want to ensure safety and efficiency are at the forefront of driving the business, establishing best practice and complete engagement from all the team.”
