Barratt Redrow has appointed Rebecca Napier as its new chief financial officer and executive director, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues the integration of Barratt Developments and Redrow following last year’s merger.

Napier will join the UK’s largest housebuilder on 3 August, succeeding the interim financial leadership arrangements that were put in place after the combination of the two businesses.

She joins from soft drinks manufacturer Britvic, where she served as chief financial officer until the company’s acquisition by Carlsberg in 2025. Prior to that, she spent 17 years with International Airlines Group (IAG), holding a number of senior finance roles, including chief financial officer of British Airways.

A qualified chartered accountant, Napier began her career with Deloitte and has built extensive experience across finance, corporate strategy, investor relations, business transformation and operational performance improvement.

Barratt Redrow chair Caroline Silver welcomed the appointment, highlighting Napier’s track record of leadership in complex and fast-changing environments.

She said: “On behalf of the Board, I am delighted to welcome Rebecca to Barratt Redrow. She brings a proven ability to lead through complexity, change and challenging markets.

“As we near completion of the integration of Barratt and Redrow, Rebecca’s energy, discipline and capital markets experience will be critical in helping us to build on the benefits of the combination and create sustainable value for shareholders.”

Napier said she was looking forward to joining the business at a significant moment for both the company and the wider housing sector.

She said: “I am excited to be joining Barratt Redrow at an important time for the Group and for the UK housing sector.

“Barratt Redrow is the industry-leading housebuilder with three trusted brands, a strong balance sheet and an excellent land pipeline supporting a clear focus on delivering high-quality homes and places for customers and communities. I look forward to working with colleagues across the business to support disciplined execution and drive long-term value for customers, communities and shareholders.”

The appointment comes as Barratt Redrow continues to integrate its operations following the merger that created the UK’s largest housebuilding group, bringing together the Barratt, David Wilson and Redrow brands under a single organisation. The company has indicated that completing the integration programme and delivering operational efficiencies remain key priorities as it seeks to capitalise on the strategic benefits of the combination while responding to changing market conditions in the UK housing sector.
